Empuriabrava Beach


Empuriabrava Beach is one of the most visited places in the summertime, the place to be to get a tan and have a nice cool drink in the many cafes on the beach front.

The beach itself will almost certainly get it's Blue Flag for water quality, which it has done for the past couple of years. This is one sign that not only Empuriabrava, but also many of the other beaches in the surrounding area are improving and becoming a lot cleaner.
With the Summer 2009 season almost here, now is also the best time to find accomadation, with lot's of people and rental agents having special deals to try and get people to the area now that the world is having a financial crisis. Be sure to check out some of the great deals on offer, not only in Empuriabrava but also Roses, Palau and Santa Margarida.

Empuriabrava Mooring Problems.

Empuriabrava Moorings are still basically in limbo, stuck between the owners and the Government trying to take their property. In September 2600 will be called upon to finalize what part of the Canals and Moorings will be taken and owned by the Government. The same problem is also happening in Santa Margarida, the Mayoress of Roses will be travelling to Madrid to fight on behalf of the town to try and keep the moorings and canals seperate from the Spanish Coastal Law. I guess time will tell, from the meeting in Madrid in August and the meeting for the mooring owners in Empuriabrava in September.
