Eating Out In Empuriabrava

Eating out in Empuriabrava can be great for tasting some of the local Catalan dishes, but dont let this put you off, Empuribrava also has many other restaurants to cater for everyone. Their are many German restaurants, French and of course some traditional family owned Spainsh restaurants that serve home grown cuisine as well as international dishes.

Their are also a few Chinese restaurants that serve some of the best dishes that you will probably taste. Their is one located on the beach front next to The Orange Kiwi, this being the most popular because of it's great location.

Located almost on the beach is The Mar Bar, an excellent bar located a few metres from the sand. This is great for families, they can have a nice relaxing drink whilst their children run around on the beach. The Mar Bar used to be one the Cafe De Mar's which are located all around the world.

Empuriabrava Mooring Problems.

Empuriabrava Moorings are still basically in limbo, stuck between the owners and the Government trying to take their property. In September 2600 will be called upon to finalize what part of the Canals and Moorings will be taken and owned by the Government. The same problem is also happening in Santa Margarida, the Mayoress of Roses will be travelling to Madrid to fight on behalf of the town to try and keep the moorings and canals seperate from the Spanish Coastal Law. I guess time will tell, from the meeting in Madrid in August and the meeting for the mooring owners in Empuriabrava in September.
