Renting a car certainly gives you freedom and flexibility esp. when traveling with children or a large group of friends. No waiting for buses or trains, no paying expensive taxi fares. Just make sure, however, that you know your route before you start so you can have a safe and enjoyable journey.

Empuriabrava Mooring Problems.

Empuriabrava Moorings are still basically in limbo, stuck between the owners and the Government trying to take their property. In September 2600 will be called upon to finalize what part of the Canals and Moorings will be taken and owned by the Government. The same problem is also happening in Santa Margarida, the Mayoress of Roses will be travelling to Madrid to fight on behalf of the town to try and keep the moorings and canals seperate from the Spanish Coastal Law. I guess time will tell, from the meeting in Madrid in August and the meeting for the mooring owners in Empuriabrava in September.
